Mr. Gregorio ‘Greg’ Batumbakal Pangilinan

Greg is the manager of a store that sells automobile accessories and the patriarch of the Pangilinan family. He enjoys teasing his wife, Martha, and playfully pokes fun at his children whenever he gets the chance. Despite his humor, Greg is protective of his two daughters, especially his youngest, Sophie. He supervises his crew and always arrives first to open the shop, often doubling as the cashier after the owner cut spending. Every day, he drives his wife and children to school in their large family van. In his younger days, Greg had a reputation as a playboy.
Mrs. Mathilda ‘Martha’ Macatangay Pangilinan

Martha is a high school Filipino teacher at Our Lady of Lourdes School, where she teaches the Philippine language and literature. She is the wife of Greg and the mother of James, Benjamin, Michael, Mary, and Sophie. More mature and grounded than her playful husband, she balances his lightheartedness with her steady demeanor. As a caring mother, Martha shares a particularly close bond with her eldest daughter, Mary. While Martha enjoys cooking, Mary has developed a passion for gardening, and together they often embark on cross-stitching projects at home, sharing quiet moments of creativity.
Jameson ‘James’ Macatangay Pangilinan

James is the eldest son of the large, middle-class Pangilinan family living in the bustling Quezon City. Despite being the oldest, he shrugs off responsibility and prefers an easy-going, carefree lifestyle. The dutiful firstborn role falls instead on the second child, Benjamin, who seamlessly embraces it thanks to his strong sense of conscientiousness. James has a deep love for music and enjoys jamming on his guitar during his free time. He is also the lead vocalist of his boy band, Kaleidoscope, which includes his best friends: guitarists Ezra and Apollo, Kai on keys, and drummer Rowan. James cares a lot about his appearance and always keeps up with the latest fashion trends. He is a natural peacemaker and often mediates between his brothers, Benjamin and Michael, since the proper and disciplined Benjamin frequently clashes with Michael’s mischievous antics. In addition, James is a hopeless romantic and a charming ladies’ man.
Benjamin Matthew Macatangay Pangilinan

Benjamin is the second child of the large, middle-income Pangilinan family in Quezon City. Taking on the role of the dutiful firstborn after his older brother James, he is intelligent, curious, and a science whiz. Always excelling in school, Benjamin is a top scorer on quizzes, frequently recites in class, and is often the only one to answer the teacher’s toughest questions. He frequently clashes with his younger brother, Michael, regularly scolding him for bad behavior. Hardworking and disciplined, Benjamin follows the rules, respects authority, and strives to emulate his role models. He enjoys solitude, preferring quiet places where he can read undisturbed. The same goes for schoolwork, as he dislikes the sloppiness of group work. His style leans towards smart casual, favoring cool and neutral colors. Always punctual, he keeps track of time with his wristwatch and never leaves without his essentials in his trusty sling bag.
Michael Macatangay Pangilinan

Michael is the middle child of the Pangilinan family and a natural athlete. As the MVP and captain of his basketball team, he’s fiercely competitive and unstoppable on the court. However, his fiery personality often leads to clashes with his older brother Benjamin, especially when defying Benjamin’s strict rules. While Michael may come across as a bit of a meathead, he’s clever in his own way—pulling off pranks and sneaking around his parents and Benjamin. He has a narrow view of masculinity, believing it is defined by strength and courage, which causes him to question the masculinity of his brothers. James relies on charm and social skills, while Benjamin excels in intellect. Michael thrives on challenges and never backs down from a fight, possessing the heart of an action hero. He’s impulsive, often leaping before looking, which explains his deep admiration for superheroes.
Mary Jane Macatangay Pangilinan

Mary is the fourth child of Greg and Martha. Not only does her name resemble her mother’s, but she also shares a striking resemblance in both appearance and personality. Mary is caring and channels her nurturing instincts into tending the plants on the balcony of their family home. She has even named the plants and sings to them, believing it helps them grow healthy and strong. Among her siblings, she is closest to her younger sister, Sophie, as the two are the only girls in the household. In her free time, Mary enjoys cross-stitching with her mom, Martha.
Sophia ‘Sophie’ Marie Macatangay Pangilinan

Sophie is the youngest daughter of the Pangilinans, a four-year-old with a budding passion for art. She loves drawing with crayons, especially honeybees, and her favorite color is yellow. With a vivid imagination, Sophie has a rich inner world and can be bubbly at times, surprising those around her. She tends to go with the flow, following the lead of her parents, sister Mary, or her three brothers. Innocent and highly impressionable, Sophie enjoys watching cartoons in the family living room, often sitting comfortably on the couch. Her favorite shows include SpongeBob SquarePants—though some might argue it’s a bit mature for her age—and Peppa Pig, which she streams on the tablet. She also adores her Winnie-the-Pooh coloring book. Many of the cartoon characters she loves are colored yellow, just like her favorite things. Sophie is easily frightened, often running away or hiding when she feels scared, but she has a kind heart and a soft spot for small animals.
