Sophia “Sophie” Pangilinan is a bright and imaginative child who loves drawing and coloring. A devoted fan of cartoons, she enjoys watching SpongeBob SquarePants, Peppa Pig, The Powerpuff Girls, and more. Though small in stature, she has big, expressive brown eyes and shoulder-length black hair, which she neatly tucks behind a yellow headband to match her dainty yellow dress. Sophie is gentle, sensitive, and shy—a budding artist with a heart full of creativity. The youngest member of the large, middle-class Pangilinan family, she grows up in the bustling environment of Quezon City.

At home, Sophie is closest to her only sister, Mary, who nurtures and looks after her. She deeply adores her mother, Martha, who is loving and protective, ensuring Sophie always feels safe. In school, Sophie sometimes gets lost in daydreams, especially in subjects like math, where she struggles. Her notebooks are often filled with doodles rather than notes. Since preschool, she has dreamed of joining the Art Club, and in elementary school, she finally finds the courage to overcome her shyness and make that dream a reality.

On the center table, Sophie picked up a black crayon to outline a bee. She drew the insect’s two antennae, a smiling face, arms, wings, and legs. She even accessorized the bee’s head with a bow. After coloring some parts black, she used a yellow crayon to finish the rest.

Sophie’s personality is defined by her kindness, innocence, and artistic nature. Though she can be naïve, she has a compassionate heart, a soft spot for small animals, and a strong sense of empathy for those in need. She is incredibly shy, often preferring quiet self-expression through art rather than words. With her go-with-the-flow attitude, Sophie is gentle and phlegmatic, rarely causing trouble. Her best friend, Mae, is like a sister to her—always encouraging Sophie to pursue her passion for art and helping her gain confidence in herself.

During the fateful cave incident, Sophie unknowingly becomes the host of the Yellow Luminary, transforming into her alter ego: Bee Girl. The character she selected from the Star of Vis magical board game—a tribute to classic cartoons—comes to life, granting her unexpected powers. Despite being thrust into Honey Pollen’s tomboyish persona, Sophie remains a soft-hearted girl in a sporty outfit (ironically, she dislikes running). As a half-honeybee hybrid, she gains antennae, wings, and a buzzing stinger when shrunk down. A goggle girl like the Digimon protagonists and Artificers, she sports iconic bee-eye goggles. With her newfound abilities, Sophie zips through the skies with ultraviolet vision, detects danger through her antennae, stings enemies (causing hives), and generates electric-green energy blasts from her hands—turning her into a surprisingly formidable force despite her timid nature.
