Suspended in the air, the monstrous hands reached for the solitary source of light in the abyss. Cerulean transformed, his form brightening into a warm white silhouette that grew into that of a young man, muscular, and soon, with eight wings unfurling from his back. A swirl of feathers swept around him, borne by divine winds, revealing an archangel clad in plates of silver and gold.

Facing the horde of monstrous, phantom arms that clawed to anchor his soul in purgatory, Archangel Cerulean summoned seven intricate golden gates, each unlocking and opening like pieces of a celestial puzzle. From these gates burst a thousand holy weapons: divine swords, spears, polearms, maces, and halberds, each radiating godly power.

With a resolute gaze, Archangel Cerulean directed his thousand weapons to clash against the monstrous horde. Ivory, warm white, and golden beams exploded upon impact, converging into a massive blast that illuminated the once-dark limbo with divine brilliance.

Then, from Cerulean’s tomb, a towering Ivory Luminary emerged, splitting the tombstone in two as the halves fell to the ground. The luminary rose, ascending to the highest reaches of the overcast sky, leaving the field below drenched in light.

The silver lining of the overcast sky gleamed above, visible from the ground where Cielo, a white-winged, angelic pony resembling the Pegasus of Greek mythology, gazed heavenward. Hope glimmered in his eyes as he acknowledged the power of his true Master. Neighing in reverence, Cielo stepped forward, spread his wings, and soared into the sky, following the holy light.

In the Philippine Sea below, a fierce naval battle raged between Typhon, the Father of All Monsters, controlling his monstrous son Hydra, and the combined Philippine-American fleets. The murky waters and darkened sky framed the scene as Hydra’s poisonous breath spread across the marine frontlines. Suddenly, a radiant ivory light broke through the clouds, revealing the towering figure of Archangel Cerulean (Topher), an eight-winged warrior.

“You’re alive?!” Typhon exclaimed, stunned by the return of his long-lost adversary—a boy he had slain, now reborn as a young man.

The American and Filipino marines looked up in awe. Amidst the flying monstrosity and the sea serpent, a new figure had appeared: an archangel, suspended at the peak of the overcast sky.

Cielo soon arrived, glowing white-gold, and descended beside his true Master, Archangel Cerulean. The angelic pony dropped Pandora’s Box, an ancient, earthen chest inscribed with arcane symbols, down to Cerulean. Sensing the mythical artifact, Cerulean transformed, his radiant form shifting from warrior to Priest Cerulean.

Now an angelic figure clad in flowing robes of ivory, pale gold, and pure white, Priest Cerulean—a young man with brown curls, blue eyes, and eight wings—caught Pandora’s Box. The chest disintegrated, revealing its precious contents. Long ago, Pandora had released all evils into the world from this very box; only hope had remained. Hovering over Priest Cerulean’s palms, hope took the form of a small black hole.

Raising his arms, Priest Cerulean released the black hole skyward. It expanded, transforming from a pitch-black void into a gateway connecting the first heaven, the Sky, to the second, the Cosmos. Stars shimmered within the celestial opening as bands of clouds cleared around it, restoring the sky’s blue hue. Cielo shone brightly then transformed into an adult white winged horse then a majestic and gigantic holy beast that coiled around the bands of clouds moving through in his pristine white fur and rows of wings. Hydra, exposed to this divine light, began to dissipate into clouds of dark smoke.

“Noooo!” Typhon bellowed, flying towards the celestial portal on his massive bat wings.

In a flash of feathers, Archangel Michael appeared. Typhon, his shoulder serpents hissing and spewing flames, unleashed a torrent of fire upon the angel. But Michael, radiating white-gold light, extinguished the flames with waves of holy power. Drawing his radiant sword, Michael hurled it at Typhon. In a final act of defiance, Typhon attempted to summon darkness from the corrupted Star of Vis, but the holy sword sliced through the gloom, piercing his heart.

“Aaaahh!” Typhon’s agonized scream echoed as his form disintegrated in a blinding burst of light.

As Hydra’s smoky remains were drawn into the celestial portal, sealing the creature’s fate, Priest Cerulean transformed once more, assuming the modest form of a cherub in a pure white gown. Lifting his voice, Cherub Cerulean sang a prayer:

Introitus

Requiem aeternam:

Requiem aeternam dona eis, Domine,

et lux perpetua luceat eis.

Te decet hymnus, Deus, in Sion,

Cherub Cerulean clasped his both hands close to his chest and faced straightforward.

et tibi reddetur votum in Jerusalem.

Exaudi orationem meam,

ad te omnis caro veniet.

Requiem aeternam dona eis, Domine,

et lux perpetua luceat eis.

Cherub Cerulean raised his two arms toward the heavens and looked upward to give praises to God.

Kyrie

Kyrie eleison:

Kyrie, eleison.

Christe, eleison.

Kyrie, eleison.

Mozart’s Requiem, 1791/92

Cherub Cerulean cast his eyes below, side to side, to the people to deliver the Gospel “good news”.

The Hydra’s poisonous breath dissipated, purified by waves of holy light that spread through the sea. The marines’ blisters and swelling veins healed instantly, the wounds sparkling with white-golden light. The once-murky waters turned crystal-clear, restored to a pristine blue.

The boy and the cherub, Cerulean (Topher), sang, conjuring an all-encompassing light of ivory, warm white, and golden rays. Holy light pierced through the overcast sky, descending upon Our Lady of Lourdes School. Sophie, dressed in her school uniform, looked up, cradling a large yellow sphere in her arms. The Visean shard, glowing blue-white with sparks of light, grew larger as it fell from the sky toward her.

A black window appeared on the yellow sphere, revealing electric green eyes. Floating pads detached to form ears as Bumblebee awakened. The spherical robot lifted, hovering beside Sophie. As the Visean shard drifted closer, Sophie instinctively turned her back, and the shard merged into her spine. Turning forward again, four beige, cocoon-like wings emerged from her back, wrapping around her until they formed a neat, hovering cocoon.

With a flash of white and black, Bee Girl—a sporty hybrid of honeybee and human child with vibrant yellow and black patterns—burst from the cocoon, her wings a blur as they buzzed loudly. Knowing she was back, Bee Girl took flight, with her loyal companion Bumblebee following close behind.

In Sta. Jovita, rays of holy light descended through the clear blue sky to a secluded forest. The huntsmen, once petrified by Medusa’s cursed gaze, transformed from stone back into flesh. Realizing their salvation, they rejoiced together, celebrating the chance to return to their families.

At the temple of Athena, rays of holy light illuminated the stone statue of Love Fey (Allison). She, too, returned to life, her surroundings shifting back to the forest as she witnessed the joyful reunion of the huntsmen. She cast her eyes skyward. You really did it, Cerulean, she thought, her expression softening into a warm smile.

In the town of Victorino, holy rays descended on a construction site. A black hole opened in the sky, releasing construction workers safely to the ground. “We’re free!” one exclaimed, as the group cheered in relief and celebration.

At the crumbling tower of Nemea, Cerulean’s holy light bathed Oppa Rockstar, a K-pop idol wielding mystical powers. In his hands, he held a strange feather—a plume of red-orange, yellow, and purple.

High on a mountain, the holy light touched the home of a hermit. Spartan (Michael), a superhero clad in maroon-red spandex, turned to nod gratefully at the albularyo (local faith healer) who had tended to him. Sharing a silent understanding, they agreed to keep Spartan’s identity a secret. Spartan then took off, leaving a blazing scarlet and orange streak in the sky as the albularyo watched with a subtle, knowing smile.

In a secluded room, Benjamin lay unconscious, connected to life-support machines. Rays of holy light filtered through the open window, surrounding him in a warm glow. Roanne entered his room to check on him, only to find it empty. Rushing outside, she was stunned to see Benjamin standing, gazing at the heavenly spectacle. Roanne’s face lit up, and she hurried toward him, her pastel dress swaying like a flower in a spring garden.

They embraced tightly, a heartfelt reunion. “I guess I’m back,” Benjamin said with a playful grin.

“I couldn’t be happier,” Roanne replied, her eyes brimming with joyful tears. Nearby, Uncle Ronald, dressed in his mechanic’s uniform, watched with his robotic companions, ROBO3000 and CleanBot, smiling at the young couple’s reunion.

Meanwhile, at sea, Cherub Cerulean finished singing. The Star of Vis—now purified and glowing blue-white—floated through the sky toward him, encircled by magical, metal-gray rings forming a celestial astrolabe. It returned to its true Keeper, brushing gently against Cerulean’s cheek, making him giggle.

Cherub Cerulean descended to one of the navy ships, transforming back to his basic paladin form. He looked up at the clear sky. “It’s truly over now, isn’t it?” he mused.

Cielo, his angelic pony, approached, neighing joyfully. Cerulean stroked the pony, smiling as they both looked out over the crystal-blue waves of the sea under the clear, open sky.
