Power Source: Ivory Luminary / Seventh Plane

The Ivory Luminary orbits the Star of Vis from the seventh and farthest plane of the Visean Cosmos. It is a radiant, light-giving body that emits a soft off-white glow, tinged with pale yellow. Among the seven, it completes the longest revolution around the star. When the Star of Vis board game reaches its final move, a Cosmic Cataclysm—an immense stellar twister—unleashes this colossal, sentient celestial being. Alongside the Cyan Luminary, it descends upon the caved-in ruins, where Topher and Benjamin are trapped. Upon impact, the Ivory Luminary grants the younger boy divine wings and crowns him with a halo of transcendent light.

RPG (Role-playing Game) (Ivory Paperboard)

Prince Cerulean Arlentis was the heir to the High Kingdom of Aurea during the medieval period. Tall, muscular, and fair-haired, Cerulean shocked the realm by renouncing his claim to the throne to join the Church as a paladin. As Sir Arlentis, he led the Church’s army against the forces of darkness, donning silver armor and wielding a holy sword. His long reign as Pope brought decades of peace before his canonization for three miracles after his death at the age of 100.

Ser Cerulean Arlentis

Clad in resplendent silver armor, laced intricately with filigrees of gold, he gleams beneath the heavens. A billowing white cape unfurls behind him like a banner of hope, stirring with every righteous step. At his waist rests a sheathed holy sword—its hilt engraved with sacred runes and ancient vows. Chainmail guards his arms, forged to withstand both steel and sorcery, burnished with divine resilience. His helm bears a sapphire crest, symbol of wisdom, justice, and unwavering resolve. Eyes of calm conviction pierce through his visor, ever fixed on light, never on glory. He is the shield of the weak, the blade of truth—champion of the Visean cause.

Transformation: The Crucifix

Topher brings his four fingers together, with his thumb folded at a right angle. “In nomine Patris” (In the name of the Father), he recites, as he conjures the northern part of a glowing crucifix, pointing north with a warm white light. “Filii” (Of the Son), he continues, conjuring the southern part of the crucifix below, glowing as it points south. “Et Spiritus Sancti” (And of the Holy Spirit).

He then conjures the western and eastern parts of the crucifix, extending his left and right hands to the sides as they glow, pointing west and east respectively. Both hands hold the traditional sign, with his index and middle fingers raised, while his pinkies and ring fingers are tucked into semi-clenched fists, secured by his thumbs. Topher clasps his hands together, and the cardinal points of the crucifix merge into one shining ivory cross. A whirlwind of angelic feathers engulfs him, followed by flashes of white and golden light.

When the sequence ends, the paladin emerges—holy knight, crusader—wearing a winged helmet, armor plated in silver and gold, wielding a holy sword, and draped in a glorious white cape.

Mount and Companion: Cielo

A white, winged pony and divine steed of the young paladin, Cielo is Cerulean’s loyal mount and cherished companion. Adorable, faithful, and ever by his side, Cielo embodies both courage and charm. Unbeknownst to the little crusader, Cielo is the transformed spirit of Hunter—the beloved German Shepherd of the Kennedys, the heroic pup who once saved Cerulean by leading rescuers to the cave-in.

As a flying mount, Cielo can soar through the skies with ease, even spinning at such speed that he becomes a turbo whirlwind capable of extinguishing raging fires. Though well-meaning, Cielo is often clueless; earnest, yet endearingly clumsy. He still adores playing frisbee, just like he does as Hunter. Above all, Cielo longs to stay close to Cerulean, often growing sad when left behind—but his joy soars when they journey together on their quests and adventures.

A Divine Beast

To the surprise of many, Cielo can transform into a magnificent and colossal divine beast—vast enough to coil around a great band of clouds in the heavens. Adorned with ring upon ring of radiant wings, he moves with a solemn grace that inspires awe in all who witness him.

Weapons

Holy Sword

A divine longsword forged with sacred steel, its blade gleams with purity and purpose. The hilt, adorned in ivory and gold, bears intricate carvings of celestial sigils. Ser Cerulean Arlentis wields it with masterful grace, a true knight trained in the art of swordplay. When channeling holy energy, the blade glows with radiant light—unleashing powerful techniques that pierce darkness and shield the innocent.

Divine Shield

An ivory-and-gold heraldic shield bearing the sacred Christian cross, etched with heavenly precision. Ornate and radiant, it embodies both faith and fortitude. Ser Cerulean Arlentis skillfully pairs it with his sword, forming a seamless dance of offense and defense. When raised, the shield can project a burst of holy light—an ethereal barrier that wards off evil and protects the just.

Maces & Chains

Cerulean can summon massive maces and drive them into the ground like holy pillars. Bound together by golden chains, the maces form a radiant perimeter, with a divine circle glowing beneath them. Once complete, this sacred formation can restrain even the most fearsome of beasts!

Heavenly Armament

Cerulean can open heavenly gates and unleash a thousand divine weapons upon a horde. When these celestial portals appear, they reveal the vast cosmos beyond. The downpour of weapons strikes with the force of radiant nukes—erupting in brilliant light across the battlefield.

Holy Magic

The Lord’s Prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come;
thy will be done;
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation;
but deliver us from the evil one.
For thine is the kingdom,
the power and the glory,
for ever and ever. Amen.

Holy Light

Ser Cerulean Arlentis can channel radiant beams of warm white light, imbued with divine power. These sacred rays strike down the forces of evil with righteous force, purging darkness in their wake. Just as potent in mercy as in might, the same light can heal wounds, restore strength, and rejuvenate allies in battle.

Protection

Cerulean can conjure divine protection in the form of warm white holy light. This sacred energy manifests as a radiant forcefield—whether a shimmering dome, barrier, or wall of light. It shields him and his allies from oncoming attacks, repelling dark forces and keeping enemies at bay with unwavering sanctity.

Lightning

Cerulean calls down thunder and lightning from the heavens—blazing bolts of warm white divine energy. These strikes crash into the ground in rapid succession, engulfing the area in righteous fury. Functioning like an area-of-effect (AoE) blast, this holy storm delivers swift judgment, punishing the wicked and purging the unworthy in a brilliant display of celestial wrath.

Purification

Cerulean possesses the sacred power of purification. With pristine ripples of warm white light, he cleanses the corrupted, the polluted, and the tainted. His divine touch restores balance to the world—clearing the air, purifying water, and revitalizing soil to make it fertile once more. Wherever his light reaches, purity follows.

Order

Just as God holds dominion over the order and laws of the cosmos, Cerulean wields power over the fabric of space and time. He can open divine portals that lead precisely to the place he envisions. This ability serves as swift transportation—or a vital escape route in moments of peril.

Forms

The Archangel

In this form, Cerulean becomes a fully grown warrior, adorned in radiant armor and bearing six majestic wings in place of his usual billowing cloak. As the Archangel, he can summon heavenly gates that unleash a thousand divine weapons from the cosmos, bombarding the battlefield in a brilliant, holy onslaught.

The Priest

Cerulean’s second young adult form is that of the Priest. Clad in flowing clerical robes and wielding a papal scepter, he performs powerful feats of holy magic. In this sacred aspect, he bears eight luminous wings—a symbol of divine authority and spiritual might.

The Cherub

In this childlike form, Cerulean becomes the Cherub—a small, angelic figure with a single pair of gentle wings. The Cherub’s hymns carry healing power, capable of soothing wounds and restoring life with their pure, celestial melody.

Prayers, Hymns & Verses

Cerulean channels his holy magic through prayers, hymns, and verses drawn from the Word of God—the sacred text that anchors his faith and power.

  • Hymns are sacred songs, uplifting and divine, often sung during battle to invoke healing, protection, or radiant might.
  • Prayers are solemn invocations, used to commune directly with the Divine and align one’s spirit with heavenly will.
  • Verses are spoken excerpts from the Bible itself, imbued with spiritual authority and ancient wisdom.

By swearing an oath to live righteously and walk the path of holiness, Cerulean has been blessed with divine magic. While he can perform simple miracles with faith alone, greater and more intricate feats of holy power require the full triad—prayers, hymns, and scripture—spoken with unwavering belief.
